In debating, you are given 1 hour to prepare for a 7 minute speech without the use of the Internet. The limited preparation time without the crutch of the internet helps students with their critical thinking skills, as they delve deep into their existing knowledge and create coherent and persuasive arguments on the spot. Our academy further trains this, by providing students with extensive lessons on current news and global issues. We explore a variety of topical and engaging subjects, such as political science, economics or law.

You are also given 7 minutes to present your ideas. Standing in front of a crowd to present an argument and defend it to the end helps build your confidence composure. Our students will not be afraid to speak up during lessons and will develop an immaculate ability to present their ideas to a crowd.
